    1965 - DRIVEN BY INNOVATION

    Giuseppe Manini invented the first automatic gate handling system, leading to the founding of FAAC (Fabbrica Automatismi Apetura Cancelli) in Bologna, Italy.

    1971 - 1986 - PARKING RENAISSANCE

    Zeag was founded by Zuhlke Engineering AG in Switzerland in 1971, followed by INERTECHNOMICS USA (later renamed Datapark) in 1981, and TIBA in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1986, marking key milestones in parking industry innovation and growth.

    2011 - 2012 - A BUSINESS UNIT EMERGES

    FAAC Group acquires Zeag in 2011, and Datapark in 2012. Later in the year HUB Parking Technology becomes the new name for the FAAC Parking Business Unit, with three parking brands underneath it, including it's own brand FAAC.

    2016 - 2017 -- US PRESENCE GROWS

    In 2016, HUB acquired CTR Parking Systems, a leader in airport parking technology, in Warrendale, PA. In 2017, TIBA acquired Signature Control Systems in Columbus, OH. These strategic acquisitions significantly grew the US market.

    2017 - 2019 -- DIGITAL REVOLUTION

    We eagerly embraced the digital revolution reshaping our sector. In 2017, TIBA launched its cloud-based PARCS line, X60/SPARK. In 2019, HUB introduced the cloud-based Jupiter/Janus Management System, and the FAAC Group acquired Parclick, a digital demand leader in Europe.

    2020 - 2023 - STRATEGIC GROWTH

    Between 2020 and 2023, FAAC Group made strategic tech investments, expanding in North America and Israel through acquisitions of TIBA Parking Systems and Pink Park, and in Texas with Associated Time Instruments. The 2022 rebrand to FAAC Technologies and the 2023 launch of FAAC Mobility Services in the U.K. underscore our dedication to innovation and excellence in customer solutions.

    2024 - UNITED WE STAND

    FAAC Technologies rebranded its Parking Business Unit to FAAC Parking Solutions, unifying our global product and service portfolio. As the industry shifts towards a smart, digitally-focused future, our commitment to innovation remains central. FAAC Parking Solutions—'FAAC' unites us globally, 'Parking' is our core focus, and 'Solutions' drive our evolution.
